One of the AI’s strength is the ability to trawl through massive amounts of data and formated medical data has become the driving force behind AI innovations in healthcare. One of the advantages that Taiwan has is the 25 years of comprehensive aggregated data in the national health insurance(NHI) system. We leverage the NHI digitalized data and work with doctors and top scientists to solve complex human health problems.
AILabs.tw partners with The Human Genome Lab on using artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency and quality of personal genome annotation. The WGS2RDD project aims to find a shortcut from Whole Genome Sequencing to Precision Diagnosis for Rare Diseases(WGS2RDD).
We also collaborate with Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on the Malaria Diagnostics Project to a put AI into improving the diagnosis process of Malaria.
